Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any service provided by SiteHub.live ("we", "us", or "our"), including our subdomain allocation service, website hosting, and portfolio design service, you ("the user", "client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of SiteHub.live.

2. Services Offered

SiteHub.live currently offers the following services:

• Subdomain & Hosting (৳1,000/year): Includes a free subdomain under app.sitehub.live or portfolio.sitehub.live, portfolio template, optional custom design, and 1GB hosting for 12 months.
• Subdomain Only (৳400/year): A yourname.sitehub.live subdomain with no hosting. You point this to your own server.
• Project Hosting: Hosting for student web apps and tools. Pricing varies by project scope.

All services are delivered manually by the SiteHub.live team. Custom domain support is available at additional cost.

3. Subdomains & Domains

Subdomains allocated under sitehub.live remain the property of SiteHub.live. You are granted a licence to use your allocated subdomain for the duration of your active plan.

• Subdomains are non-transferable and may not be sold or assigned to a third party.
• Subdomain availability is confirmed upon purchase — we cannot guarantee a specific name until confirmed.
• Custom domains (e.g. yourname.com) purchased or connected separately are subject to additional terms.
• We reserve the right to reclaim a subdomain if it is used for prohibited activities (see Section 6).

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are to be made in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT / ৳) via agreed payment methods (bKash, Nagad, bank transfer, etc.).

• Payments are due in full before service activation.
• Plans are valid for 12 months from the date of activation.
• Refund Policy: Refunds are available within 3 days of payment if the service has not yet been activated. Once your subdomain is live and hosting is set up, no refunds will be issued.
• Renewal is the client's responsibility. We will attempt to notify you 14 days before expiry.

5. Hosting & Uptime

We aim to maintain reliable and fast hosting for all clients. However:

• We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Occasional maintenance or unexpected downtime may occur.
• We will make reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of outages.
• The 1GB storage limit applies to the Portfolio Hosting plan. Exceeding this limit may result in service suspension until space is freed.
• We are not responsible for data loss. You are encouraged to keep backups of your files.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SiteHub.live services for any of the following:

• Hosting illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or spam.
• Running cryptocurrency mining scripts.
• Distributing copyrighted material without authorisation.
• Any content that is defamatory, hateful, or harmful to others.
• Impersonating individuals, organisations, or official entities.
• Running automated attacks, scrapers, or DDoS tools.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your service without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement:

• By the client: You may request cancellation at any time. No refund will be issued after service activation.
• By SiteHub.live: We may suspend or terminate your service without notice if you violate these Terms, or with reasonable notice for any other reason.

Upon termination, your subdomain will be deactivated and your hosted files will be deleted within 30 days unless you request them earlier.

8. Privacy Policy

We collect minimal information necessary to deliver our services:

• Contact information: Name, email address, and/or phone number you provide when contacting us.
• Payment information: Transaction references as required for payment confirmation. We do not store full payment credentials.
• Website files: Files you upload for hosting purposes.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on our main website beyond what is necessary for basic functionality.

Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to the SiteHub.live team only.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at sales.sitehub@gmail.com.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SiteHub.live services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results obtained will be accurate or reliable.

To the extent permitted by law, SiteHub.live shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We will attempt to notify active clients of significant changes via email or WhatsApp.
